The Esports and Media Instructor for Davis Public Schools will provide engaging and comprehensive instruction to students at both the elementary and secondary levels, fostering skills in esports, digital media, teamwork, and responsible technology use. This position is responsible for developing and delivering standards-based lessons that meet the diverse needs of students, managing classroom and lab environments that promote positive behavior, active participation, and teaching topics such as competitive gaming fundamentals, streaming, video production, digital content creation, and media literacy. The instructor will assess student progress, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with teachers and administrators to support overall student success. Additional responsibilities include organizing and supervising esports teams, coordinating competitions and events, managing equipment and technology resources, and promoting positive digital citizenship. Candidates should demonstrate strong classroom management skills, a passion for working with students of all ages, and the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment, with a preference for individuals holding appropriate Oklahoma certification or experience in technology, media, or related fields.

Oklahoma School Certification in technology education

Additional responsibilities include organizing and directing vocal ensembles and choirs, coordinating concerts and performances, and promoting a lifelong appreciation for music. Candidates should demonstrate strong classroom management skills, a passion for working with students, and the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment, with a preference for individuals holding appropriate Oklahoma certification or experience in vocal music or related fields.

Business Manager

Vacancy Description: 

The Business Manager for Davis Public Schools is responsible for overseeing the district's financial operations, payroll, human resources functions, and treasury duties while ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations. This position serves as the district's school treasurer, maintaining accurate financial records, managing budgets, monitoring cash flow, and overseeing accounts payable and receivable in accordance with Oklahoma State Department of Education requirements. The Business Manager will process and manage all payroll functions, maintain payroll records including benefits and leave, and ensure compliance with all applicable payroll laws. In addition, this role supports human resources by assisting with employee onboarding, contracts, personnel records, benefits administration, and compliance with employment laws and certification requirements. The position requires extensive knowledge of OCAS coding and school finance to ensure proper coding of expenditures and revenues, preparation of state and federal reports, and successful completion of audits. Candidates should demonstrate strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills, maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality, and have experience in school finance, payroll, and human resources, with a preference for those with prior experience in Oklahoma public schools and a background in accounting, finance, or a related field. 

Qualification 
School finance experience preferred.
